This seminar presents the Cognergy project key results through two industrial use cases from cement milling and abrasive manufacturing. Participants will gain insights into physical process modelling, machine learning, reinforcement learning, causal analysis, and their practical implementation for improving the sustainability and efficiency of industrial production. The Cognergy project addresses physics-based modelling, data-driven modelling, digital twins, reinforcement learning, and interpretable AI to support operators in optimizing complex industrial processes.
Project partners Linz Center of Mechatronics GmbH, Software Competence Center Hagenberg GmbH, Cement and Mining Technology GmbH, Hermes Schleifmittel Ges.m.b.H.
