The Austrian Advances Lightweight Technology A2LT brings together the expertise of Austrian companies and research centres on the subject of lightweight engineering. The initiative „Connected Mobility - The smart future“ (ICM) is a hub founded by the Automotive Cluster and the IT Cluster of the Business Upper Austria (Upper Austrian Business Agency). The initiative addresses both companies from the IT as well as the automotive industry in order to develop mobility solutions and services with suitable cooperation partners. Its aim is to develop new profitable business models, new projects and new services in the field of innovative mobility solutions in a cross-border way in order to strengthen the Austrian economy.
The plastics industry has a long tradition in Upper Austria at the same time as being a high-tech sector with a sound future. Kompass is the competence centre for parental leave and careers and the main point of contact for companies in Upper Austria concerning women and work. Working together with the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce and the Women's Group of the Government of Upper Austria, Kompass has been initiating projects in support of combining private life and professional life since 2011.
