The world is at the beginning of the next paradigm shift: IBM is promoting the topic of “cognitive computing”, and for Google, “Mobile First” now follows “AI First.” Machines are becoming more and more intelligent and autonomous. Machines have learnt how to solve problems without having to be especially programmed. The question is not if but how quickly this paradigm shift will affect our societies. The co-workers of the future will be autonomous learning machines. The aim of the breakout session is to discuss the resulting opportunities and effects on the economy and how to take the next steps with new projects.
